September Classes

Fall is the perfect time to get a move on those colder weather projects. And we’ve got some great ones for you! Angostura Vest is back on the schedule to teach taking measurements and fitting. Tackle knitting in the round in Beginners Hat and Basic Mittens. Challenge yourself with the Sankaku shawl!

angosturaAngostura Vest: Designed by Ysolda Teague, the Angostura vest is smart, flattering, and fun to knit. This class will focus on custom fitting the vest to the student’s measurements. Bead knitting is a great way to add interest to your knitting while also giving it a little “bling.” The Undulating Waves scarf is based on a lace pattern that has lace stitches on both the knit and purl side of the fabric. This allows beads to float on the yarn overs. With practice and perseverance the pattern becomes quite easy. In this class we learn how to do just that. We will be weaving the tails of both stockinette and garter swatches using the duplicate stitch method, learning how to block, and how to sew on your buttons. Rowan Mystery Afghan Class

Our Rowan Mystery Afghan Class starts soon! Have you signed up yet?

This afghan will feature 8 different square designs (48 squares total) that will be assembled into an afghan with a cabled trim added. Each square design is a mystery! Starting April 22, join us each week for 10 weeks as we guide you through making each new square. In the final two weeks we will cover how to assemble the afghan and add the cable trim.

Rowan Mystery Afghan

Designed by Martin Storey, the afghan is made up of 48 squares in eight different patterns, plus a cabled trim, all worked in Rowan’s new Pure Wool Worsted Superwash.
