August is here and new yarns are approaching!  The other day I had the pleasure of helping Jan pick out some new sock yarn! (yes all you crazy sock knitters heard right, SOCK YARN!)  And, it was Claudia!!! (scream of excitement.)  There was a gorgious coral color that will look fabulous on anyone’s tootsies.  Speaking of tootsies, is anyone working on any exciting new socks?  I recently just finished the sidewinders from Nonaknits and they are awesome.  So please post some comments and let us know what your working on!

Vivian Hoxbro has three new designs that have been kitted up for us knitters.

Dancing Stripes which can be a Stole or Vest or Scarf now is available in some yummy colors.

Lene Shawl is a beautiful design made with Harrisville Silk & Wool yarn. Vivian describes it this way: “This shawl looks like a flying bird. You can wear it as a usual shawl or cross it on your chest.” The shawl is knit in one piece and had a lace design and fringe. Come in and see the design. It is quite loverly.

Navajo is a Jacket or Sweater that is wing shaped. The design is inspired by Vivian’s trip theo the Denver Art Museum. The kits come in a be-a-u-tiful array of colors.
