It has arrived! The Penny Straker Trunk Show is here. It includes over 30 items for young and old. Sweaters, vests, hats, scarves and more. Stop in a see this wonderful collection. It will be in the shop until April 5th.

South West Trading Company Bamboo yarns is 100% bamboo, knits up at 5 sts/inch and comes in skeins of 250 yards! A limited selection of colors perfect for evening summer designs.
Twize, also by South West Trading Company is also 100% bamboo that comes in 9 summer colors. Knits up at 5 sts/inch. Beautiful color selection and had a great hand and drape.
Panda yarn by Universal Yarn Inc. knits ups at 5.25-6 sts per inch on a US 5-7 needle. Panda comes in 7 colors (fushia, purple and blues to name a few). Feels really nice to the touch.
Wool blends include:
Regia Bamboo Color sock yarn is 45% bamboo, 40% superwash wool and 15% polymid. This is a “loverly:” sock yarn that knits up at 30 sts/4 inches. A nice summer sock yarn to carry around for knitting while waiting in line.
Panda Cotton by Crystal Palace is a 55% bamboo, 24% cotton and 21% elastic nylon yarn great for knitting socks. 6-7 sts/inch on US 1-2.5 needles and 170 yards a skein. Someone just stopped in the shop to get some for a cute hat for her grandson. This comes in a nice variety of colors that are going fast.
Wool Bam Boo is from Classic Elite Yarns and arrived in the winter. This yarn is 50% wool and 50% bamboo and has a great feel knit up. 5.5 sts/inch on US 6 make for a nice yarn for a tank top. We’ve got every color that they came out with this season. many of them are still in stock.

It is an event designed to connect top designers and teachers with knitters and fiber art lovers. A wide array of classes for all levels of knitters are scheduled. Unique yarns and products will be featured in the Knitters Market. Fun evening events are a great way to end each day. Join us for one class or make a long weekend of it.
